Baseball yearbooks gained popularity in the 1950's. Though some teams produced some form of a yearbook earlier, by the end of the 1950's most teams were publishing annual yearbooks. Baseball yearbooks are great collectibles as they provide a snapshot of a particular team, along with stories, pictures, and statistics. Getting a full run of yearbooks for a particular team is a challenging yet attainable goal for a die-hard collector.
